Choosing lighting for a restaurant is one of the crucial steps that adds uniqueness and sophistication to the space. Our tips can serve as a guide to make the best use of your restaurant space.

Anyone designing restaurant interiors should keep in mind the importance of lighting. Its placement, intensity, or choice of design pieces has a huge impact on the overall charm of the space. To find the perfect lighting fixtures for a restaurant, you need to pay attention to the individual details and combine them tastefully.

Already at the beginning of the architectural project, it is necessary to think about the placement of lighting fixtures. Similarly, when renovating or redesigning a restaurant from the ground up, it is essential to think about the lighting layout, as it is one of the most important parts of the design.

It is important to remember three key elements:

  • the overall style of the restaurant,
  • the atmosphere you want to give the restaurant,
  • the specific role of the selected luminaires.

A restaurant needs not only a cosy and romantic atmosphere, but also functional lighting that allows guests to fully enjoy the food served. So be careful not to leave the entire burden of lighting on the luminaires that are supposed to create the atmosphere. Direct lighting, such as hanging lamps, is needed at each table to create a feeling of hospitality and a moment of comfort among the guests.

For example, in a restaurant decorated in a contemporary style with golden details, the Honicè pendant chandelier (fig.1) will look very good not only above the bar, but also above the individual tables. The linear shape of the lacquered metal frame in an elegant matt gold finish is complemented by diffusers made of natural stone- onyx.
The Cupole chandelier (fig.2) in a classic design with a unique double interior and exterior finish, will be the optimal choice for the common areas of a large restaurant.

The restaurant in elegant style will be perfectly illuminated by Posy luminaires (fig.3), which with their minimalist and refined shape will tastefully light up the tables.
